He’s your confidant and constant. The one who accepts you unconditionally. Your protector and safe space. The only one you’d sacrifice four feet of your bed for just so he can continue to sleep comfortably.
I relate because my Hunter is the same to me.
Since the day I first held my big-headed, floppy-eared boy at just 11-weeks-old, Hunter has been the best part of my life. Days of exuberant curiosity toward all things new and unusual morphed into months of shark-tooth puppy bites and later years filled with chin scratches, adventures, snugs, and laughter. My world is a better place because of Hunter.
When Hunter turned 10-years-old, it hit me hard. Despite his puppy-like playfulness and good health, celebrating those double digits came with the reality that, as pet parents, we are not privileged to forever. Hunter is my heart dog, the one who made me a pet photographer, and the reason I want to celebrate yours.
As an award-winning professional pet photographer focused on celebrating the joy and love between Pittsburgh pets and their people, I’m someone who values tangible products and who believes my job is not finished until every client has photos on display, ready to be enjoyed and handed down from generation to generation. I am a proud Certified Printmaker, continuing my education on the best ways to create a truly boutique experience for every client and striving to provide the best practices of workflow, processes, design strategies, and client support.
Together, we’ll transform the ordinary into the extraordinary to deliver timeless portraits and classic products, each meticulously sourced from the industry’s best of the best. From internationally handcrafted artisan touches to archival-quality that promises the excellent standards you expect, your dog deserves to be celebrated with products that highlight his heart and personality with an eye for detail and a brilliance in craftsmanship.
In addition to capturing pets through playful portraits, high-energy action shots, and small moments in time, I also give back through my annual pet calendar contest which has welcomed hundreds of entries and raised tens of thousands of dollars for Pittsburgh’s local rescues and non-profits.
I’m an ISTJ personality type and enneagram 3w2 to a tee. What in the world does that mean? Well, I tend to be direct, practical, persistent, loyal, creatively driven, detail-oriented, private, and service-focused. Efficiency is my love language and automation is my superpower! Excellence, quality, joy, love, communication, and service will forever be important components of who I am, what I value, and the Bark & Gold Photography experience!
Whether you choose a large wall art piece to fill an empty space above your fireplace, a stunning fine art album filled with all of your session images, or a luxurious heirloom folio box, I’m there every step of the way to deliver a personalized experience you won’t forget, natural and expressive images you’ll love, and five-star artwork to last generation without the fear of losing your memories to technology gone wrong.
This is your story told your way, and I can’t wait to capture it for you.
Bark & Gold Photography’s heirloom folio box is the most beautiful and most popular way to preserve your bundled prints and a gorgeous alternative to a fine art album. Each is internationally sourced and handcrafted to bring you a stunning one-of-a-kind product.
Choose from a gorgeous acrylic design that is both classic and contemporary or an eco-friendly natural bamboo paired with a stunning “floating” deckled edge print on its outer lid and a surprise bonus image on its inside. You’re sure to find one that complements the décor of your home as well as your session images. Whether you opt for a shining acrylic or that beautiful bamboo, one thing’s for sure: you aren’t going to want to store away the box itself as these puppies are a true work of art!
With a versatile way to display your images following your session, heirloom folio boxes are an instant showstopper that you’ll want to display for all to see. The ability to take out select images and frame them or display them with a small tabletop easel is just an added bonus.
The more you buy, the more you save with box sizes that hold 10 or 20 matted prints and deliver the best value. Heirloom folio boxes, which are available in select collections or a la carte, also include the matching high-resolution digital files of ordered box images.
